Audi India has launched its first all-electric SUV Audi e-tron in India. It is available in 2 body styles, 2 different battery packs capacity and a total of 3 variants to choose from. The most affordable variant is Audi e-tron 50 which packs 74kwh battery packs and 2 different electric motors on either axle that makes it a quattro all-wheel drive. This battery pack produces 313Ps / 309BHP max power and 540Nm max torque. The acceleration figure from a standstill to 100kmph happens in 6.8sec and flat out it will do 190kmph top speed. It is priced at Rs 99.9 lakh ex-showroom India. The other variant is Audi e-tron 55 which is priced at Rs 1.16cr ex-showroom India, this variant packs a bigger 93kwh battery packs that produces 408Ps / 402BHP max power and 664Nm max torque sending power to all four wheels via two motors situated on both the axles and power is controlled via Quattro - All wheel drive system, which makes a brisk acceleration run from 0-100kmph in 5.7sec and flat out it will do a 200kmph top speed. The top model is Audi e-tron Sportback 55 which is a coupe lifestyle model based on Audi e-tron 55 SUV, it is priced at Rs 1.18cr ex-showroom India.

Audi e-tron Features
Audi e-tron is the compact luxury SUV that comes with the following features list: At front it features a pair of HD Matrix LED headlamps with adaptive cornering and auto high beam assist functionality as standard. It has the LED daytime running lamps which gives the new front fascia which we will be getting on the future electric vehicles from Audi India. Front nose is all new, since the electric vehicle doesn't need cooling on the front hence there isn’t much opening found in the front hexagonal grille as we used to see in petrol and diesel cars by Audi India. Audi e-tron gets the chrome finished front grille surrounds with the grey finished horizontal slats which features a Audi logo in the centre. Front bumper is all new, it features two air ducts on either side to cool down the massive brakes as it will get very hot while making the 2.5-tonne SUV stop. Side profile is very reminiscent of the other petrol or diesel powered SUVs. Audi e-tron is sitting on unique 20-inch 5-arm dynamic style graphite grey finished alloy wheels which comes with 255/50 R20 high profile tubeless tires on each corner. It features the adaptive air suspension system as a standard fitment which not only gives the additional ride height for the undulating indian road infrastructure but it will also soak the bumps and potholes easily. As standard, Audi e-tron comes with electrically adjustable outside rear view mirror with memory and heating function, chrome finished side window surrounds, LED tail lamps with integrated fog lamps. Power operated boot lid comes with the easy-handsfree access mechanism that will allow access to the 660-litre boot space which makes it a very practical suv.
Interiors are all freshly updated and it goes hand-on-hand with the internal combustion engine cars. Driver zone is all new, and features Audi Virtual Cockpit 12.3-inch fully digital high definition drivers display that comes with the updated graphics and it can be customized in multiple ways. Steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit that weighs up beautifully as the speed climbs - to aid high speed safety. Audi e-tron features all-new multifunctional four-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel which can be adjusted electrically for reach and rake. Audi India has updated the MMI system that features 10.1-inch high definition touchscreen display and features dual touchscreen in the centre console for the climate control system, this display features a haptic feedback functionality to give you the assurance to input - being made. Entertainment display is paired with a standard Audi sound system capable of operating at maximum output of 180 watts through 10 speakers. GPS navigation system with updated 3D maps comes standard where enhanced voice control, Apple Carplay, Android Auto and updated surround sound system can be equipped at an additional cost. Front cabin features 4-zone automatic climate control system, wireless charging pad, ambient lighting system, leather wrapped armrest with storage, auto dimming inside rear view mirror, 12-way electrically adjustable comfort seat with driver’s memory function, panoramic sunroof. Rear cabin features a conventional bench seating layout with manual headrest restraint adjustment, foldable armrest with cup holders, and a manual rear window blind. Safety features includes 8-airbags, audi drive select, anti lock braking system, regenerative brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, audi park assist, brake assist, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring system, high definition reversing camera with adaptive guidance, ISOFIX child seat mounts for rear, electric parking brake, Aud Pre Sense Basic.
