The Petrol power variant is BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged 6-cyl engine which is mated to a 8-Speed Steptronic Sport Transmission to produce 340Ps of power and 450nm of torque, power is sent to all four wheels via xDrive system to accelerate this 2300kg of luxury lump from 0-100kmph in 6.1 sec and flat-out it will do 245kmph top speed. This model is priced at Rs 1.087 crore ex-showroom India. The top model BMW X7 M50d is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged 6-cyl diesel engine to produce 400ps of power and 700nm of torque this engine is mated to a 8-Speed Steptronic Sport Transmission to accelerate this powerful luxury SUV from 0-100kmph in 5.4sec and flat out it will do electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. This top model is priced at Rs 1.659 crore ex-showroom India.

BMW X7 Features
BMW X7 is the flagship luxury SUV recently launched by BMW India with following features. It has got the BMW larger iconic grille ever fitted to a BMW model. Alongside are slimmer trimmed adaptive LED headlights with L-shaped daytime running DRLs with LED fog lamps placed just below the headlights. Front bumper is much bigger, it features a larger air intake on either side and at the centre with front parking sensors. Side profile is really big unlike anything we have seen on past BMW models. BMW X7 sits on 21-inch alloy wheels with multiple alloy finishes to choose from depending upon the variant on which you are buying. Side window profile features a brighter Chrome window surround in DPE variants and high-gloss black surrounds featured in M Sport variant. BMW X7 features a Double Wishbones Independent Air Suspension at front and multi link air suspension at the rear as standard on BMW X7 except for the base DPE variant. Rear profile features the biggest LED tail lights ever fitted to BMW models with parking sensors and chrome plated exhaust tips are integrated in the rear bumper. It features a power tailgate with power closure to offer 386-litres of boot space when all 3-rows are up which can be increased to 750-litres by folding down the 3rd row of seats. Inside, BMW X7 features next level luxury, interiors are covered in Vernasca' design-perforated Leather upholstery and suede cloth headliner. Driver zone comprises Multifunctional leather steering wheel which can be adjusted electrically for reach and rake. Behind that is a fully digital new-age 12.3-inch instrument cluster with multiple viewing displays. Centre console features a newly designed AC vents with 4-zone climate control system for base DPE variant and 5-Zone climate control system for the rest of the variants offered on BMW X7 range in India. Multimedia display is a 12.3-inch capacitive HD touchscreen which comes with wireless integration of Apple CarPlay, GPS Navigation system with 3D maps, Gesture control, enhanced voice control, bluetooth connectivity and comes with latest generation of BMW iDrive system which can be controlled via handwriting recognition rotary dial in centre console. Multimedia display comes paired with 10-speakers Hi-Fi loudspeaker system (205 W) in base variant and rest of the variants came with 16 speakers Harman Kardon Surround Sound system (464 W). Panoramic sunroof is a really important feature in a luxury vehicle these days, BMW X7 features a panoramic sunroof with rear moonroof as standard but except on base variant all the other variants feature 15000 lighting elements to feature Panoramic Glass Roof Sky Lounge. Front seats are 16-way adjustable comfort seats with 2 preset memory functions for both occupants. Base variant misses out on heated and ventilated front seats options whereas rest of the variants feature these options as standard. Rear seating configuration comprises a 3-seat layout bench seat for the base variant and reat of variants gets individual captain chairs with 4-way electrical adjustment along with powered headrest restraint that features alcantara comet cushions extensions. All the luxury features include temperature controlled front cup holders, AC vents for all three rows, powered electric rear window blinds, wireless charging pad for smartphone, ambient lighting system, rear entertainment system that includes two 10.2-inch touchscreen with multiple input ports available for DPE Signature and M Sport variant, 7-Airbags, Front & Rear Parking Sensors, Reverse Camera with adaptive guidelines, 360 Panoramic Surround View Camera, Parking Assistance, Attentiveness Assistant, Active Park Distance Control (PDC) all comes as a part of equipment list.
