Jaguar I-Pace EV400 India
2021 Jaguar I-Pace is the first all-new all-electric compact Premium SUV by Jaguar India. It has been introduced in 2019 in Europe and becomes a very popular all-electric compact SUV which can be used for daily commutes without any hussle. Under the floor, sits the 90kWh Lithium-ion battery packs with one motor on each axle making it an all-wheel drive SUV. Making the battery sit low and flat makes for a better weight distribution, centre-of-gravity remains lower that results in better ride and handling. Now, Jaguar India has introduced its first ever all-new Premium Electric SUV in three different variants. All packs the 90kWh battery pack which results in a claimed 470kms of range in a full charge. Jaguar India is pricing 11kW domestic DCwall charger which can the battery from empty to 80% though 230V/32A domestic AC supply in 10.1hrs where 12.9hrs would be needed to completely charge it from empty. Whereas if you are charging it from a 50kW commercial DC charger then it would charge itself in 85min from 0-80% that time will come down further to 40mins when charged from 100kW commercial DC charger. 2021 Jaguar I-Pace prices starts Rs 1.05 cr for the base AWD S model and goes all-the way upto Rs 1.12 cr ex-showroom India.

Jaguar I-Pace EV400 Features
2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 comes loaded with whole loads of features few of which came standard and few are kept as optional extras depending upon the variant you are going for. As standard lower variants gets te automatic LED headlamps with LED daytime running lamps whereas the Premium LED headlight with auto high beam assist and power headlamp washer and Matrix LED headlights with auto high beam assist and U-shaped LED signature LED daytime running lamps can be equipped as optional extras on entry level “S” variant where former headlight setup is standard on “SE” variant and latter comes standard with top variant “HSE”. At front it has got a new design slimmer Jaguar rectangular grill with Chrome surrounded around the edges as standard where there is an option to choose the Gloss Black Exterior package, bright exterior package and Carbon Fibre Exterior package. Front bonnet has been given an air vent which lets the air out after entering from the front grille which generates downforce at the front axle. Side profile is unlike what we have seen on any modern Jaguar Cars in India. It has got a proportional profile of length, width and height. It looks very smart and the rear quarter profile has been designed to give a sweeping roofline which resembles an Coupe crossover from the back which is again a nice welcome feature by the modern Luxury Car buyers in India as out in the crowd it looks distinctive and that's what people love to pay for. 2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 sits on 19-inch 5-spoke Style 5055 grey finished alloy wheels with diamond cut face and at all profile it is sitting on 255/55 R19 comfort tubeless tires which can cope with undulated Indian roads very easily. Side profile is clean, air channels very smoothly because of the recently introduced flush door handles which embedded itself into the bodywork while locking the car and it comes-out (with keyless entry) the moment the driver approaches near the car. Side window profile is big and long, it lest much air and light enters the cabin. Rear profile is the dramatic end of the 2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400, the whole rear end comes so perfectly together that nothing looks out of place. The coupe-like rear end is a redesigned decklid which can be opened via remote key gives access to a total of 696 Litres of luggage space when combined with a narrow front luggage space over the front axle. Slimmer and elongated pair of LED taillights is the character defining trait of this luxury lifestyle luxury SUV which has been taken directly from the beautiful sports car Jaguar F-Type. Roof mounted fixed roof antenna not only looks cool and enhances the aesthetic appeal of the rear end but it channels the air coming from the roof onto the rear windshield in-a-way that it does not require any ugly windshield wiper to clean the glass. Rear bumper is clean and uninterrupted from any cuts and creases since this is an all-electric SUV it doesn’t require any exhaust tips.
Interiors of the 2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 marks the next generation of Jaguar interiors which we will be seeing in future Jaguar products and it is beautiful. Base variant “S” comes fitted with Luxtec leather upholstery where middle variant “SE” and top variant “HSE” comes with Grained leather and Windsor leather upholstery respectively. Driver instrument cluster is an all-new 12.3-inch Interactive Display which comes with multiple display modes and works in conjunction to the different driving modes on offer, this whole screen can also be used to display GPS Navigation system which features 3D map display. This luxury electric SUV features an all-new design of Jaguar Multifunctional leather wrap Steering wheel which is electrically assisted and comes with electric adjustment for reach and rake. The whole dashboard is newly designed along with the centre console. It features a 10-inch high definition PIVI touchscreen display as standard where lower 5.5-inch touchscreen comes optional. Lower centre console looks very smart and brings freshness to the interior cabin. Lower models get the 380 Watts Meridian Sound System as standard which comes with 10 speakers and upgraded Meridian Surround Sound System (825 Watts) and Meridian Signature Sound System (1700 Watts) both can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Where the top model “HSE” trims comes fitted with Meridian Surround Sound System as standard. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation with 3D maps, bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming, Panoramic Glass sunroof, 2-Zone Automatic Climate Control, 6-Airbags, Front and Rear parking sensors, 360 Surround Camera System, ABS, EBD, TC driving modes, flush door handles, regenerative braking, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Keyless Entry, Driver Condition Monitor, Roll Back Protection, Motor Drag Torque Control, Roll Stability Control (RSC), All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) comes standard across the range.
