Land Rover Discovery Sport is a compact luxury crossover SUV and best-selling vehicle since 2017. The Discovery Sport represents the third generation of compact SUV produced by Land Rover which replaced the Freelander. The Discovery Sport was styled by Gerry McGovern, who also designed the original Freelander model. The Discovery Sport features a steel monocoque, the bonnet, wings, roof and tailgate are made from aluminum and a panoramic glass sunroof. The interior of the Discovery Sport is available in a seven-seat configuration, with the front row featuring two seats and three seats on the second row. The second-row seats slide and recline, and fold in a 60:40 configuration, folding forward to allow access to a third row of two seats.

The top model Land Rover Discovery Sport Petrol R-Dynamic SE is priced at Rs 63.32 lakh ex-showroom India.

Land Rover Discovery Sport comes with following features: At front is a smaller two slated Land Rover grille, either side is a pair of Premium LED Automatic Headlights with Signature DRL in base model and higher model gets a pair of Premium LED Automatic Headlights with Signature DRL & Auto high-beam assist. Front bumper is fairly large with air intake sections at the centre and on the either ends. Side profile has a higher waist line. Land Rover Discovery Sport sits on 18-inch 5 Split-Spoke, Gloss Sparkle Silver finished alloy wheels with 235/60R18 Tubeless Tires at all corners. Rear profile is updated with the redesigned LED tail lamps with integrated fog lamps. Power assisted tailgate is rather large, hides 157 litres of boot space when third row is up and offers 1036 Litres of luggage space when third row of seating is folded. Electric assisted tilegate comes with power closure as well. Roof mounted fixed rear spoiler adds sportiness, the shark fin antenna features a rear view mirror, Land Rover is classified this feature as a clear vision camera that projects image on the interior rear view mirror. Interiors are covered in Acorn grained leather seats in base variant and Ebony grained leather seats in top variant, Light Oyster Morzine is used as headliner in both the variants. Higher variants of Land Rover Discovery Sport are updated with a 12.3-inch fully digital high definition instrument display which shows big analogue speedometer and tachometer dials, the display mode can be changed by changing the driving mode through Terrain Response 2 system which comes as standard with this facelifted model whereas in previous model this automatic selected terrain response 2 system was kept as an optional extra. Driver side zone is equipped with Electrically Assisted Multifunctional Leather Steering Wheel in the base variant and higher model gets the same unit, Multifunctional Leather Steering Wheel with Atlas Beze. Steering wheel can be manually adjusted for reach and rake. Centre part of the dashboard houses the updated 10-inch touch pro high definition multimedia display which comes paired with 6 speaker Land Rover Sound System (180 W) in base variant and higher variants are equipped with 11 speakers Meridian Sound System (380 W) that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation system, bluetooth pairing for wireless music streaming. 2-Zone Climate Control System, Ambient Lighting System, Panoramic Glass Roof, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, manually sliding and reclining rear seats, cup holders in all three rows, 6-Airbags, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Reversing camera with guidance, All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC), Driver Condition Monitor, Brake pad wear indicator, Hill Descent Control, Torque Vectoring by Braking, Roll Stability Control, Gradient Release Control (GRC) comes as a part of standard fitment list.
