The Lexus RX is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV sold since 1998. The name "RX" stands for "Radiant Crossover" It has also been labelled as "Recreational Cross Country" in some markets. The RX is the brand's most successful hybrid SUV to date. The futuristic design and bold styling coupled with the car’s hybrid powertrain has aided Lexus’s brand image. There’s a generous amount of space inside and the cabin is very intuitive. Lexus RX450hL is a full size SUV, it is the very first time in India, Lexus has launched the long-wheelbase version of this 7 seater luxury SUV. Lexus RS450hL is available in one Hybrid powertrain, where 3.5-Litre Naturally Aspirated V6 Petrol engine is producing 262PS / 258BHP of power and 335NM of torque which is mated to Sealed Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery pack at front and at the back. Front battery pack is producing 167PS / 165BHP of power and 335NM of torque and the rear battery pack is producing 67PS / 66BHP of power and 139NM of torque. The combined power output of this drivetrain is 312PS / 308BHP. Power is sent to all-four wheels and transferred on road via 6-Step E-CVT Automatic Transmission. Lexus has launched this luxury SUV in fully loaded variant and it is priced at Rs 1.04 crore ex-showroom India.

Lexus RX450hL comes with following features: A beautiful pair of 3-Eye LED projector headlamps with auto-levelling system with L-shaped LED daytime running lamps and headlamp washer. At the centre is the z-shaped Lexus’s iconic grille which neatly integrates the front parking sensors, this grille works as air intake for the front engine bay. Side profile is huge as this is Lexus’s 7-seater SUV, side window line is decorated with chrome surrounds, Lexus RX450hL sits on 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels which comes wrapped in 235/65 R18 tires and due to its massive tire width wall, Lexus RX450hL has managed to maintain interior much silent than its arch rivals. Rear profile means business with wrap around LED tail lights, fixed roof spoiler, power tailgate with auto closing mechanism, tailgate can be operated with gesture control as well. Rear bumper is highlighted with chrome elements that run throughout the width of the vehicle. Interiors are covered in Perforated Semi-Aniline leather upholstery. Driver instrument cluster is a mix of analogue dials and 4.2-inch multi information display, multifunctional leather wrapped steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit which comes with electric adjustment for reach and rake. At the centre of the dashboard is an updated 10.3-inch high definition touchscreen unit which comes paired with high-rated 15 speakers Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System which supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation system, this screen is controlled with a Touchpad with haptic feedback situated in the centre console. At front are the 10-way adjustable electric seats which come with heated, cooling functionality with 3 preset memory functions for both the occupants. Front cabin also offers a 2-Zone Automatic Climate control system, Laser Cut Wood / Shimamoku / Bamboo / Walnut (Open Pore) interior finishers, panoramic sunroof, front armrest with storage and media input ports. Rear seat is a much conventional, offers electric reclining function and electric folding function from the boot. Rear window blinds are manual. Third row of seating can seat two adults, it offers rear AC vents, cupholders and some storage space to keep your belongings.
