2021 Maserati Ghibli is the most affordable luxury sports sedan launched in India recently. This marks the new entry of Maserati India with the aim to make this model as popular as it is in the global markets. Maserati India now has a plenty of different options with two petrol and one hybrid powertrain where the price range starts from a mere Rs 1.15 crore ex-showroom and goes all the way upto Rs 1.93 crore ex-showroom India for the performance oriented “Trofeo” model. The most affordable is the Hybrid powertrain which is offered in 3 different variant which is powered by a 1998cc, Twin-Turbocharged, In-Line 4-cyl Petrol engine which is paired with 48V alternator generator - combines to give 330PS / 326BHP of maximum power output at 5750 RPM and 450Nm of torque which starts at 2000RPM. This powertrain comes mated to a 8-Speed ZF Automatic Transmission along with rear wheel drive makes for an acceleration run from 0-100kmph in 5.7sec and flatout it will do 255kmph top speed. The entry-level model is 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid which is priced at Rs 1.15 cr ex-showroom India, The mid-variant 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid GranSport is priced at Rs 1.38 cr ex-showroom India and top variant in 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid is Maserati Ghibli Hybrid GranLusso which is priced at Rs 1.42 cr ex-showroom India.
Next, is the more powerful V6 powertrain which uses a 2979cc, Twin-Turbocharged, V6 Petrol engine producing 430PS of peal power at 5750 RPM and 580NM of maximum torque at 2250 RPM and goes till 400 RPM. With 8-Speed ZF Automatic Transmission and Rear Wheel Drive system this luxury sedan can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 4.9sec and with the foot buried it will achieve 286kmph top speed. The entry-level model powered by a V6 engine is 2021 Maserati Ghibli V6 GranSport which is priced at Rs 1.51 cr ex-showroom India and the 2021 Maserati Ghibli V6 GranLusso is priced at Rs 1.55 cr ex-showroom India.
The third and the last powertrain offered by Maserati India is bonkers. It is a 3799cc twin-turbocharged Ferrari sourced V8 Petrol engine punching out 580Ps of power at 6750 RPM and 730NM of torque at 2250 - 5250 RPM. This beautiful engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, power is going to rear wheels only. The performance figures from 0-100kmph is 4,3sec and flatout it will do a 326kmph top speed. This top-of-the line variant 2021 Maserati Ghibli Trofeo is priced at Rs 1.93 cr ex-showroom India.

Maserati Ghibli Features
2021 Maserati Ghibli comes with many new and updated features: At front it has got the updated grill with vertical chrome slates giving it a mean and menacing look goes perfectly hand-in-hand with the sport nature of this luxury sedan. Base model comes fitted with the Full LED headlight unit where the adaptive LEDs and LED Matrix headlights are kept as a paid option. The GranSport variant comes with the Full LED Matrix headlights with automatic high-beam assist and GranLusso variant comes fitted with the Full LED Adaptive headlights with auto high-beam assist. Side profile features a sharp crease line that defines the character, rear haunches are significantly wider than the front again adding to the beautiful character of this Italian Luxury Sedan. As standard it comes with frameless doors which is an added feature that no one in the competition is offering, Front fenders are decorated with three-rectangular vents and Maserati Trident logo over the C-Pillar which is unique to the Maserati Cars. 2021 Maserati Ghibli sits on a pair of 19-inch alloy wheels as standard which comes fitted with mixed profile tires up front and rear. Where GranSport variants comes with the bigger 20-inch alloy wheels with added sportiness that fills the wheel arches well and the top model 2021 Maserati Ghibli Trofeo variant comes fitted with gigantic 21-inch Orione style alloy wheels with mixed profile performance tires at front and at the rear axle. Rear profile comes with updated pair of wrap around LED tail lights, lower bumper housed quad exhaust tailpipes comes courtesy to stainless steel exhaust system in the lower variants where sports exhaust system can be fitted as an optional extra but the Maserati Ghibli Trofeo variant comes with the sports exhaust system as standard.
Interiors are as bit luxurious as it is sporty from the outside. Lower variants comes with premium leather upholstery with fabric material headliner, the GranSport variant comes with Premium Fine Grain leather as standard and GranLusso variants comes with Ermenegildo Zegna Silk complemented by Premium Fine Grain Leather upholstery with Ermenegildo Zegna Silk material as headliner. Instrument cluster is a mix of analog dials and 7-inch TFT digital screen at the centre that provides a whole host of driver centric information. Steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit, base model comes with multifunctional leather wrapped steering wheel with manually adjustable steering for reach and rake. The GranSport variant comes with Multifunctional Leather Sport Steering wheel and GranLusso variant comes with premium leather wrapped multifunctional steering wheel with wood inserts along with electrical adjustment for reach and rake. Infotainment screen is updated from a 8.4-inch display from previous Maserati Ghibli to now 10.1-inch all-new High Definition Touchscreen display which comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and GPS Navigation system as standard. Base variant comes fitted with Maserati Branded Audio System with maximum output of 280 Watt and comes with 8 speakers whereas other variants come fitted with Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System which can be operated at a maximum output of 900 Watts and comes with 12 speakers. Base variants come with 8-way electrically adjustable comfort seats where seat heated, cooling and massaging alongwith 4-way lumbar support can be equipped as a part of optional extras. The GranSport variants come fitted with 12-way Electrically adjustable Sport Seats with fixed headrest restraint, added support around the sides, heated seats and 4-way lumbar and Ventilated & Massaging seats can be equipped as a part of optional extras. The GranLusso trim comes with 12-way Electrically adjustable Comfort Seats with memory function, 4-way lumbar and manually adjustable headrest restraint whereas heated seats, ventilated seats and massaging seats can be equipped as a part of optional extras. 2-Zone Automatic Climate Control System, front armrest with storage, auto dimming IRVM, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, ventilated disc brake setup, rear bench seating layout with multiple AC vents, rear armrest with cupholders, 7-Airbags, ABS, EBD, ICE driving modes, TPMS, front and rear park assist all comes as a part of standard equipment list.
