Mercedes-Benz GLE Features
Mercedes-Benz GLE is the full-size suv which comes with a ton of features that include LED High Performance headlamps in the base model whereas higher models get a MULTIBEAM LED Adaptive headlamps with redesigned LED daytime running DRLs. At the centre is slightly redesigned Chrome surround grill with double slatted section at the centre with MERCEDES STAR postponed at the very centre. Front bumper is all new which comes with front parking sensors with chrome highlighting at either side with chrome palette faux skid plate like finish at the centre section of the front bumper. Side profile retains the iconic surround windshield from one side of the D-pillar to the other. Chrome surround finis at the side window surrounds adds a touch of luxury. Inorder ot make ingress and egress more comfortable Mercedes-Benz E-Class gets an illuminated fixed aluminium side step board. Rear section retains the boxy design with a new pair of LED tail lights with rectangular lights at the centre. Fixed rear spoiler features a third parking light. The rear bumper features a rear parking sensor along with contrasted chrome surrounds around at the centre section over the blacked out bumper section. Twin chrome visible exhaust tips look aligned with the rear centre section of the bumper. The power operated rear tailgate with power closure features 630 litre of luggage space. Mercedes-Benz GLE comes with 19-inch alloy wheel design as standard with narrower 235 section tires all around whereas higher and more powerful variants come with a 20-inch 5-twin spoke alloy wheels design which comes wrapped in 265/45 R20 tubeless tyres on all-four corners. Inside is a completely different story than last generation Mercedes-Benz GLE. Interior upholstery features ARTICO man-made leather with Anthracite headliner. Centre console features 4-rectangular AC vents with chrome surrounds highlighted above Open-pore wood trim that covers the entire width of the dashboard. Multimedia screen comes mated with a 9 speakers Advanced sound system (225 W) that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming, Enhanced Voice Control, Gesture Control. The higher variants come mated to an upgraded 13 speakers Burmester surround sound system (590 W). Panoramic sunroof, 4-zone climate control system, ambient lighting system, wireless charging pad for smartphone,head-up display, Touchpad with haptic feedback, powered rear window and rear windshield blinds, electrically adjustable front row seats with electric sliding and backrest recline movement for rear seating, 7-airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, TC, TPMS, Hill hold control, Front and rear parking sensors are the part of standard equipment list. Powered underthigh extension, powered front, headrest restraints, 360 degree surround camera system, upgraded music system comes standard with higher variants offered by Mercedes-Benz India.
