Porsche Cayenne is the premium SUV which is also the flagship SUV that Porsche sells in India. It comes with all the bells and whistles up its sleeves. It is available in two body types, three powertrain options and a total of 5 variants to choose from. The entry-level variant is Porsche Cayenne Standard and Porsche Cayenne Coupe, both luxury SUVs are powered by 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 Petrol engine that punches out 340PS / 335BHP of power and 450NM of torque that send the power to all four wheels via 7-Speed PDK Automatic transmission. The entry-level models, one is a full-size luxury SUV and other is a luxury Coupe SUV priced at Rs 1.20 crore ex-showroom India and Rs 1.31 crore ex-showroom India respectively. The second powertrain is a Hybrid powertrain which is found in Porsche Cayenne Hybrid, 3.0-litre is a same engine found in lower variant but it is complemented by a 14kWh battery pack that punches out 136PS / 134BHP of power and 400NM of torque, with a combined power and torque output of 462PS / 455BHP & 700Nm respectively that makes this luxury SUV to achieve 0-100kmph speed in 5.0sec, flat-out it will do a 253kmph top speed. The power oriented variants are Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe which is powered by a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 Petrol engine that punches out 550PS / 541BHP of power and 770NM of torque sending power to all four wheels via 8-Speed Tiptronic S Automatic Transmission. The 0-100kmph acceleration run can be achieved in 4.0sec and both the SUVs are capable of achieving unrestricted top speed of 286kmph.

The Turbo range of Cayenne is equipped with 18-way Sports seats as standard with memory and heated seats. 3-Zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting system, multiple cup holders, power rear windshield blinds, power operated tailgate, cooled glove box, a mix of analog and digital instrument cluster, 8-Airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, TC, TPMS, Hill hold assist, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera with adaptive guidance, remote central locking, keyless entry, PASM came as apart of standard equipment list. 4-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, carbon fibre interior inlays, 360 degree surround view camera system, lane departure warning, blind spot assist, rear heater seats all can be equipped as a part of additional extras. Entertainment is taken care of by updated 12.3-inch high definition touchscreen display that came with assistance of Porsche Communication Management system (PCM), 10 speakers hi-fi music system came standard along with Apple CarPlay and GPS navigation system whereas upgraded BOSE surround sound system and BURMESTER sound system can be equipped as a part of optional extras. In the lower variants of Porsche Cayenne range it comes equipped with an electrically adjustable multifunctional leather steering wheel as standard whereas upgraded GT style steering wheel can be equipped as a part of optional extras along with heated steering wheel.
